2026 Youth Sewing
and Quilting Camps

We are excited to present this opportunity for preteens and teens!

NIQ members may register their family members beginning May 18th.

Registration for the General Public will open May 26th.

Sewing Camp (ages 9-16):
Campers will learn how to sew or refresh their sewing skills. We anticipate that campers will make at least 2 projects but we encourage quality workmanship over quantity of projects. Campers must attend both days. Kits are for camp time only. July 27 & 28, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. at the Shriners Event Center in Hayden, ID. Fee is $35.00.

Quilting Camp (ages 10-16 with experienced sewing skills or have attended sewing camp):
Each camper will make a finished quilt in 3 days! Attending Sewing Camp or advanced sewing skills are required for Quilting Camp. Campers must attend all three days. Kits are for camp time only. July 29- July 31, 10:00am to 4:00 pm at the Shriners Event Center in Hayden, ID. Fee is $50.00.

Register campers for either or both events! Pre-Registration is required to attend.

Campers must be committed to attending all day, every day, they sign up for. We do not have enough volunteer staff members to individually work with those campers who choose to miss time for appointments, sports practice, or other activities. We have a waiting list for camp each year and only want those kids who are willing and able to attend each day.

Fee Covers: materials, precut fabric, and afternoon snacks.

*Campers must bring their own lunch and water bottle.
