Kids Camp
July 28th - Aug 1st

Our 11th annual Kids Sewing and Quilting Camps are scheduled for July 28th - August 1st this year. We invite youth ages 9-16 to join us for fun sewing projects and a new quilt pattern. Online registration for NIQ family members will begin May 12th and will open to the public May 19th. An email will be sent out with specific registration details.

Sewing Camp will be held Monday and Tuesday. Campers will make several sewing projects including a pincushion, strippy pillow, and backpack. The focus of this camp is to help campers master the use of a sewing machine and learn general sewing skills. Our community service project this year is pillowcases for the Shriners Children's Hospital. Each camper will make a pillowcase to keep and one to donate. This camp is open to kids ages 9-16. No sewing experience is necessary.

Quilting Camp will be Wednesday through Friday. During this time, campers design and complete a quilt of their own. This camp is open to kids ages 10-16 with sewing experience or have attended Sewing Camp.
