Kids Camp

It's not too soon to start planning for summer. For some of us, that means our 10th annual 5-day Youth Sewing/Quilting Camp, which will be July 29 through August 2 at the Shriners Event Center.

We're planning "Warren the Charity Bear" for the charity project this year along with other kid-friendly projects and flannel fringe quits.

As usual, We'll sew the small project Monday & Tuesday and create the quilts Wednesday through Friday.  All fabrics and materials will be provided (and a sewing machine for kids who need to borrow one), as well as afternoon snacks, but everyone will need to bring their own lunches.

We'll need a lot of volunteers to help the kids learn new skills, so mark your calendars, and we'll look forward to seeing you too.

9-16 years is the age range for the small projects; 10 to 16 years for making the quilts

Due to fabric donations from our generous quilters, the cost will not be increasing from the previous years and is only $30.00 for the 2-day sewing camp and $45.00 for the 3-day quilting camp.

Registration will be done online again this year after the quilt show is over in May. We'll send out and announcement later when that is ready.

If you'd like to volunteer or have questions, please contact any of us:
